Tragedy Strikes Again: Sila’s Aunt Falls from Balcony and Loses Her Life

In Tekirdağ, 27-year-old Elif Akyüz, the aunt of 2-year-old Sila who lost her life in the hospital after being sexually abused and beaten, fell from the balcony of their 3rd-floor apartment and tragically passed away.

Elif Akyüz, who resided in Altınova Mahallesi, fell from the balcony of their apartment on the 3rd floor of a 5-story building for reasons yet to be determined.

Upon the report of a high fall, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Medical examination revealed that Elif Akyüz died at the scene.

After the examination, Akyüz’s body was taken to the Tekirdağ Forensic Medicine Institute for autopsy.

An investigation has been launched into the death of Elif Akyüz.

In Tekirdağ, 2-year-old Sıla Y, who was hospitalized on September 8 after being sexually abused and beaten, passed away on October 7 in the intensive care unit of Tekirdağ Dr. İsmail Fehmi Cumalıoğlu City Hospital.

Aunt Elif Akyüz had filed a lawsuit at the Tekirdağ 4th Family Court before the baby’s death in order to obtain custody of Sila and her 5-year-old sister.
